My Personal Journey with Murano Glass
Hard to believe, but my own connection to Italy began decades ago while studying Italian language and art history in Italy during the 1970s.
Like many visitors to Venice, I was captivated by the beauty of the city. But what truly stayed with me was witnessing Murano artisans at work. Watching a skilled craftsman transform molten glass into a luminous work of art was unlike anything I had ever experienced.
The colors, the precision, and the centuries of tradition behind every piece left a lasting impression. Light play, color variety and intensity, and the romantic nature of the jewelry and other creations fascinated me for life.
That experience eventually inspired the creation of Dreamy Venice.
For more than twenty years, I have been sharing authentic Murano glass jewelry with customers throughout the United States. Having visited Murano previously, many of our customers are delighted to find those memories reflected in the jewelry they wear today. And add to their collections with us.
