Murano spring sales ventures is a busy and rewarding time of year for Dreamy Venice. A busy spring is welcome after a long and grey winter. Connecting for sales and visibility with local venues and events is a strenuous but rewarding exercise. It is always rewarding in terms of meeting so many new folks. It is also exciting seeing people’s reactions to our beautiful jewelry designs and colors from Italy. Ecommerce is a powerful and exciting sales tool, but really, there is nothing like getting out and meeting folks face to face. Offering our sparkling colorful pieces from Murano, Venice is great fun, but also explaining the long history of the Murano glass industry is a big part of the experience for me.

Murano Spring Sales in Little Rhode Island
We participated at a new wine and gourmet cheese shop in Rhode Island, Cocktail Hour Essentials. The owner, Karen Ventrone Moore hosted a fabulous wine tasting afternoon. Trending Armenian wines were presented by a sommelier to a very enthusiastic crowd. A great partner in the event was Camille Gregorian Art ‘s colorful abstract art. Color and vibrancy in art, jewelry and taste created an energized spring event.

Earlier that week, we participated at the Rhode Island Women’s Expo, a local Rhode Island event which attracts thousands of women for an afternoon of shopping, pampering, gourmet food, health and wellness discussions, as well as business development presentations. Dreamy Venice offered an enchanting selection of Murano glass jewelry which was a hit – we also loved explaining about this 1000 year old glass industry from Venice, Italy.

Growing our following with holiday cheer each weekend for the season at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island was a wonderful experience. This is a beautiful venue set on the Rhode Island coast with an amazing legacy. It is an important home of technological innovation and love of competition that brought fame as builders of some of the world’s fastest steam yachts, torpedo boats, and racing sailboats, and contributing to the America’s Cup Races.

Reaching Out to the Local Community Benefits
It’s exciting to be reaching out in person to make sales, of course, but also rewarding to explain that the Murano glass industry is centuries in the making and still evolving. Where our technologies update instantaneously today, it is rare that an industry can remain relevant, exiting and innovative using ancient techniques proudly and beautifully. Signature outstanding Italian design and respect for the creative tradition are perpetuate excellence and value.
